Acrylic on Canvas | 2025
This piece captures the fierce beauty of a roaring tiger, frozen in black-and-white contrast with a jarring twist — gold paint dripping from its mouth like blood turned treasure. This isn’t just a portrait of a predator;it’s a reflection of inner conflict. The tiger’s powerful expression, layered in stark shadows and bold outlines, becomes a metaphor for strength compromised by conscience — the proud roar of dominance tainted by the weight of remorse. The gold suggests value, but also excess, ego, and temptation. It raises a question: what have we sacrificed to get where we are, and was it worth it? This piece transforms a symbol of fearlessness into a visual confession. Guilt Drip reminds me that even the boldest among us wrestle with emotion, memory, and morality. It’s a confrontation between pride and pain, and the realization that power doesn’t always mean peace. This piece holds space for both the predator and the person inside me — the part that roars, and the part that bleeds.
Each print is a faithful reproduction of the original hand-painted canvas, capturing the texture, color, and attitude of the piece as closely as possible in print form.
